Community Cooperative Preschool

Community Cooperative Preschool has been a place of discovery, learning, and fun for children and their parents for more than a quarter century. Our preschool provides a rich learning environment for young children. We recognize that each child differs in nature and response from every other individual, and we consciously encourage this individuality while nurturing intellectual, creative, emotional, physical, and social growth. Our school community and programs provide a wonderful foundation for lifelong learning.

Winter Play Pals Session Begins Wednesday January 20th!

Play Pals is a special program at CCP for children age 18 months to 2.9 years. Children will experience a range of age appropriate activities fostering socialization, teamwork and discovery in a fun, creative and nurturing setting. This engaging six session program meets every Wednesday from October 7th until November 18th except November 11th, the Veteran's Day holiday. Activities include:

Music and instruments

Songs and finger plays

Movement and large motor games

Parachute

Art and creative experiment

Sensory experiences (play dough, water table)

Manipulatives (puzzles, blocks, etc.)

Green Cleaning

Our school cares about our children's health. For that reason, we have chosen to clean with the green cleanser H₂Orange₂ Concentrate 117. This hydrogen peroxide-based cleanser is a Massachusetts Environmentally Preferable Product (which means it scores very well in toxicity and air quality tests) and yet it is powerful enough to be an EPA-registered sanitizer.
