School has started
Welcome to our new families and welcome back to our returning families.
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – November 4, 2011 – On Tuesday, November 1, Community Cooperative Preschool welcomed back their own alumni student, Eric Hylan. While on guitar, Hylan added his own twist to popular children’s songs “Old MacDonald” and “The Wheels on the Bus,” and interacted with the children while singing. “The children loved the idea that he was a student at their school when he was their age,” says Lou Ann Donovan, a teacher at Community Cooperative Preschool.

As I sit across the classroom from my three-year-old daughter, I smile as I watch her make sand castles with a few classmates. Eventually they create a little town complete with roads and trucks. They all gleam with pride. I, in the dress-up area, outfitted in a pink feather boa, dangly clip-on earrings, and a crown that would make Queen Elizabeth jealous, gleam with pride as well.
